Practical invoice guide

Send your invoice as one private link.

Give your client a web invoice they can open without creating an account. Keep a PDF available when they need a file.

Create, publish, share

  1. Sign in to the workspace, create your invoice and save it.
  2. Check the client, services, total and payment instructions before publishing.
  3. Publish the invoice and copy its private link.
  4. Paste the link into your own email or messaging app. Open it yourself to check the client view.

What your client sees

A readable invoice in their browser, without a client account. See the real invoice renderer with fictional example data. A private link is not a password: anyone it is forwarded to can open it.

Optional card payments

If your payment account is connected and card payments are enabled for the invoice, the hosted invoice offers card checkout. Publishing alone does not enable card payments. Check your account's availability and processing fees before using it.

Changes, PDFs and revoked links

Review and save changes, then check the client link reflects the intended version. A PDF already downloaded is a separate file; it does not rewrite itself when an online invoice changes.

Revoke a link when you no longer want it accessible. Revocation cannot recall PDFs or screenshots a recipient has already saved. Keep private invoice content out of public websites and search listings.
